Like Newton's experience, sometimes extraordinary thoughts just happen.

I have chosen to publish this theory directly to the Internet and not to try and fight it out with endless correspondents while struggling just to get someone to listen. I have always felt that the wonder of the Universe is for all, not just the playground of the intellectual. It is my hope that you will think about this proposal and let me know your thoughts. I know that the Pittsfield Web Site receives quite a few visitors and it would be the perfect stepping off platform. After all, the Pittsfield Astronomy Club is where it all started for me.

I know that I lack the credentials of an academic scholar but I have 60 years of learning about my beloved hobby, the Universe. The training I received in the United States Air Force has proven invaluable to me. I learned about Magnetism, Oscillators, Resonance, and how it all works at the atomic level. Since the 50s when our knowledge was quite different, I have made it my goal to understand how everything relates to everything else. Its an exciting quest because the more you learn the more questions are generated. I watch and read the latest research and at times get thoroughly confused but that just encourages me. Thanks to Dr. Stephen Hawking, Dr. Carl Sagan, Dr. Brian Greene and Dr Michia Kaku, to name just a few, my knowledge has increased and kept current with the times. I have recently thought that we were very very close to getting it right.

One morning while procrastinating about getting out of bed, I was pondering the atomic level of the Universe. This is not unusual, I do this all the time. Then I got in to the what if, mode. That's where the new particle came into existence. For lack of an identifying label I chose U1 particle, because I was searching for a theory that had the potential to unite. Also the word Universal has as one of its meanings, all inclusive.

I have often thought that the universe should be atomically smaller because of Magnetism, Dark Energy, and Gravity, which are clearly connected to something. I Also had a nagging suspicion that space time must be fluid with no emptiness because waves cannot propagate through emptiness. Then there is the nagging question of how it started and how it ends. I knew that I had to expand space time with cooling. I knew that space time was practically absent in a Black Hole. Because of the obvious density of a Black Hole, in my mind, the particles had to be smaller than the current model. I then proceeded to try and figure out how to fit U1 particles in to the new knowledge of the accelerating expansion of the universe. Little by little, it all came together and I had a stable theory.

I think the science is good.

I feel the mathematical proportions are correct.

As far as I can tell it solves most if not all of the major observations about the Universe.

To my knowledge we have never encountered a particle that behaves in this way but as far as I can tell it is not beyond the realm of possibility. I thought of explaining the U1 particle as a bubble but that didn't seem to quite fit because it would have to rotate so fast, but then again, the bubble would be compressed, particle like, at the creation.

I am excited about the possibility that this might be correct, but I am cautious because as you know, and I know, this is only the beginning of a lot of questions and answers that must be addressed. If this proves not to be accurate it has accomplished one thing, we will have established how it doesn't work, and will most certainly move on to a more enlightened explanation.

I thank you for your attention and I hope you would take time to share your thoughts. If I have peaked your curiosity please click on the link below. This is the basic theory and is meant to clarify not to overwhelm you with scientific mathematics or vague references.
